Okay, so just occurred [sp?] to me, if I had a laptop, why wouldn't I just use the Userland on that? I mean why would I need an extra outliner. Even though looking at this JOE stuff, it looks pretty promising. On the right is the picture of this thing running. the outline is in the back ground. It has some kind of scripting engine called "BeanShell". The window in the fore-most-ground is one of the script. Download and install it, its a breeze. You'd need JRE 1.3.1 though, the install.txt file has all the info! Mr. Masukomi over here has a great idea! Instant outlining during conferences! evil I say! EVilll! what to do.. what to doo... 11:06:06 PM    comment [] This is really cool! I just downloaded and installed the JOE app. Its the Java Outline editor. It can be found at the above site along with the docs. The cool thing is that you can install it on your laptop, outline away, and when you come home you can upload it to your instant outline. Okay, not as cool as Instant Ountlining, but this is EXACTLY what I was talkin about! I hope the developer can add the Instant outlining functionality to it. That would be awesome! The business outline is coming along pretty good. If we had a lightweight client for this instant outlining stuff, that would be the best tool for Naeem and myself to communicate.
