Dehumanization you say?  A big part of dehumanization is sanitization. Humans hurt, get angry, swear, scratch and occasionally smell bad too. When managers stop treating their employees as humans, they denigrate their worth and try to rob their individuality. People can work together in groups without being homogenized into the corporate mold of the moment. Some people are foul-mouthed, some people are "colorful," some people are incessantly and unfailingly polite. There's room for all of those people in the world. Got the manucscript for the 3rd book, which he has titled "Painful Memories". I am anxious to start reading it. On my way back, I saw "I" crossing the road, so I honked at her and waved, but she kinda ignored. Not deterred by this minor cold shoulder, the prtagonist - contrary to his usual disposition of saying "fuck it" - proceeded to stop by the coffee shop to say hello, and to clarify that he isn't one of the many stalkers that she might sport at any given period of time. Anyhow, we had a good chat, and she gave me the bad email addy again.. Gaaah! Will I ever get the right info from this chick? Anyhow, this may sound a little off, but hey, I don't like being ignored, and I accepted her apology (and the excuse that she couldn't tell who it was, which I kinda agree with cuz my car is pretty dirty blah blah blah). But anyways, its kinda stupid.. how frequent it is that you run into someone on the streets of Toronto that you were thinking of just the day before? And oddest of all, it was not even in her neighbourhood! she has moved to way over somewhere near Danforth. So we talked about tennis, coffee, having coffee sometime (yeah right!), Cock's Tail soup (which I corrected to be the Hocks soup). Which incidentally they also make in Romania! What is unclear to me upto now is.. "Do they make un-complicated Women in Romania?" :) Why am I giving this a whole paragraph? cuz real estate on my blog is cheap brother! so feel free to run into me, and I will cherish the experience forever! On another note, got a thankyou from W&W regarding the drawing ("Two Nudes Bathing By the River") to them. He described the picture as "highly sexual which pays the repeat visitor". Wow!! I guess that is up there with "Picasso on acid obsessed with Baywatch". I think its one of the very few pieces that actually tries to address the issues, without trying to attack Ted Nelson for being Ted Nelson (The Visionary). YMMV! Commentary: There needs to be an effort to realize the dream of the Semantic Web. Two way connections, peer to peer just in time information navigation!
