Feels like its been ages!
Well, if I don't post now, I won't post forever.. blogging is like a daily ritual.. must be done.. or you'll fall out of the habit.. It feels like my blog doesn't have much to say.. just personal crap.. I mean who gives a F*K Amr? what you did! what you ate.. how many times you farted! but hey.. I'm filling the pages..
Last week and weekend was pretty hectic, but in a good way. W&W were here.. it was their first visit..  I wish I had been more family-lijk, but I guess I like to complain about my job.. which I haven't managed to quit cuz I'm too much of a chicken! I met I.N. Khan once again, after almost 6 years! He hasn't changed much.. except that he has mellowed out a bit.. It was fun spending time with family and doing family things.. its kinda neat watching how different families in different contexts. My family, W's family.. it was pretty cool! methinks! I got the first two books from I.N.K and the travelogue.. I am really impressed by the details, as if he was writing all these details down as they were happening.. somehow I feel thankful.. for the fact that someone took the time to document things and events that are relevant (to me in my contexts). After reading the first two manuscripts.. my impression: "This is a love story" call it what you will.. its a labor of love, and motivated by love..
Didn't get to do much in the way of sightseeing.. maybe next time would be better.. have to call I.N.Khan and thank him for his willingness to share his lifestory and see if he's got some more stuff.. I wish he was blogging .. it would be cool if he got a hang of it! I think he'll love it! I was even thinking of getting an ibook and giving him as a gift.
Just talked to Jajja maamooN.. this seems to be the "revival of family ties" week! well the more the merrier..
