I'm currently enjoying the 100 page  "How to Write Articles for Newspapers and Magazines." It might be what your looking for if your hell-bent on writing when blogging better or looking for guidelines to writing for this kind of audience. Blogging has many facets which don't exactly fit this bill (micro-content, journaling/logging, ???) but it's the closest I've seen.  I wouldn't recommend getting any closer, either.  Newspapers and Magazine formats are not nearly as flux or personal as webogs. 12:49:54 AM    , comment [] My kind of math.
