Realistic perspective on Open Source software
I've found this article at O'ReillyNet blog "Selling Open Source to Management" a great reminder of the gloves to wear around downloadable technologies, and perfectly lacking any multi-level marketing or similar fanaticism speak.
Sticking to the "1.0" rule is a hard one...and a strange one considering so many Open Source projects ride out the 0... phases longer than most shrink-wrapped. Then again, I've also heard "never use 1.0 commercial software..."
My other cent: Never say "that should fixed in the next version," and stay far, far away from "should" and "just" when discussing any future behavior. These words are Murphy beckon calls.
