Its the EMPIRE, and its Freaking me out!!
Been trying to read "Empire" and it is freaking me out. First of all, the language is so pathetically non-emotional and neutral that it takes all the joy out of reading about the next most evil thing on the horizon. Second, their premise is that this whole empire thing is just starting, and the really scary stuff is ahead of us!
Yay for police action all over the MOFO Globe!
P.S. I gave Hafiz's "The Gift" to someone and I don't think I'll ask it back
