Maurice Benayoun e Jean-Baptiste Barrièr prepararam um evento comemorativo aos 25 anos do Ars Electronica. O DIGITAL AVANT GARDE, composto por exposição e simpósio, vai ser realizado no American Museum of the Moving Image, a partir do dia 21 de maio, e contará com as presenças de Jeffrey Shaw, Christa Sommerer, Jim Campbell, entre outros. No convite eletrônico, há o trecho de um texto interessante de Oliver Grau. UPDATE: O próprio Maurice Benayoun (quem diria!) visitou nosso blog e enviou uma errata: I would like to precise that, together with Jean-Baptiste Barrière, are not organising the Digital Avant Garde event in New York but only participating to the event with the presentation of "World Skin, a Photo Safari in the Land of War" (Golden Nica interactive art, Ars electronica 98).
