Ótimo o artigo de David Pescovitz sobre obras de mídia arte que estão explorando a "cultura hertziana". Ele baliza as origens dessa tendência em Billy Kluver (ver imagem acima), engenheiro da Bell Laboratories que, durante a década de 1960, trabalhou com artistas como Robert Rauschenberg, Jean Tinguely, John Cage e Andy Warhol. Kluver foi, de certa forma, o pai da arte eletrônica.

Ars Electronica. O principal festival de mídia arte do mundo. Para esse ano, há mudanças no ar. E não é apenas a mudança de espaço do Prix Ars Electronica Gala para a Brucknerhaus. A mudança é bem mais ambiciosa.
