The Py-RCS now handles comments! http://www.pycs.net/comments?u=1234&;p=1234 should now quite happily perform the same function as http://radiocomments.userland.com/comments?u=1234&;p=1234 :)
Note that you don't need a Manila server to run this - it's all native Python.
[And yes, I do know that my URLs there are all screwed up. Radio seems to be putting & inside the quoted bit of the 'a' tag instead of just &]
