This post from last year predates Java by a bit and certainly ties in with Mike DeMoney's statement that there are only so many cute hex words available, hence the likelihood that they will be recycled. The above also contains an interesting link to Patrick Naughton's tale of the origin of Java. Naughton can certainly tell a tale and, for quite a number of people, that last paragraph is probably painful to read six years later.
