Which Weblog Tool do You Use? Before settling on a weblog tool check the landscape. There are many to choose from. If you take the time to test several of these resources you will not be sorry. The experience you gain will be worth the time and effort. What options are available? As I mentioned, there are many flavors. Here is a listing of the ones I have tried. Weblogging Tool Interesting Features Blosxom Light, customize it, Perl, free & open Movable Type Perl, can run multiple blogs, Ben and Mena bzero Python, cross-platform, command-line, powerful! Phil Radio UserLand Easy to set-up, accessible, UserTalk powered Roller Java-powered I am currently putting the finishing touches on my new Blosxom blog. Rael has just released a great installer for all the OS X users out there. I like Blosxom because it gives me total control. I am currently learning Perl while using this fine tool. It also allows me to tap the resources available to me in OS X, such as Apache. Also, using the file system makes a lot of sense to me. And I have to say that the Blosxom community is great. I would be interested to know which tool do you use? Why do you use it? Can you talk up your tool without "dogging" the others?
