I think our rainfall total still stands at about 4 hundredths of an inch since March. It's been way too dry. And we've been way too busy.

8/4-8/9 in Montana. The last time we'll see our cabin. I got to do a short hike to Beartooth Falls, up near 10,000 feet on the Absaroka-Beartooth plateau.

8/28-29 Ventana Campground, in Big Sur. The new pop-up tent-trailer ("Coleman Columbia") made its maiden voyage. Nice weekend, Marty and Ben and I did some hiking. Mary and Deb did a spa day.

9/2-9/7 NFSJ! Great trip! I'll write up a trip report one of these days. Meanwhile, see my other weblog.

9/11-9/12 Grass Valley and Reno. Deborah and I both have parents in hospital. We'll probably head up there again next week.
