I run this weblog from a Solaris machine.

It uses vi for editing.

Occasionally, when I start up bzero for the first time in a given day, I'll see a flash of a message about a new version. The message looks to be about 4 or 5 lines long, possibly with some helpful info in it -- but I never see much of it because it's wiped out right away, when vi gets started.
