So I went to the chapters on Bay & Sheppard, and ended up buying EMPIRE by Michael Hardt & Antonio Negri. I've read the first few pages, and don't know what to make of this book yet. The reviews on amazon are not very encouraging. The language seems cryptic at best, and I'm not upto speed with the postmodernist bullshit. The second book I bought is "The Gift" a Translation of Hafiz' poems by Daniel Ladinsky. I have read Hafiz before, in persian, but I don't understand farsi very much, and this translation, I think is pretty good! The light was out in my building last night (cuz the transformer blew up and it took them 24 hrs to fix it ) and I sad outside in the balcony and read Hafiz.. it was nice by all means!
