Found a bug in outlook:

Sub wankers()
    Dim i As Integer

    For i = 1 To ActiveWindow.Selection.Count
        Debug.Print ActiveWindow.Selection.Item(i).Subject
        Debug.Print ActiveWindow.Selection.Item(i).BodyFormat
    Next
End Sub

This prints the correct BodyFormat value for the first selected message but all after have it displayed as 0 (text). This is Rather Annoying as I want to be able to process all the messages in a selection properly.

Hum, there is the possibility of using google site search to trawl stuff. e.g::

site:www.itl.co.uk software

searches only www.itl.co.uk for references to software.

The leather case of my palm had a thing on the back..

The leather case of my palm had a thing on the back that allowed it to be hung from a belt clip. I decided that

  • I wasn't going to use it because it is too posy

  • It made the palm wobble when 'writing' on a flat surface.

  • It made the palm thicker (8mm ?)

So I've ripped it off. I tore the leather a bit but I think I prefer it. No wobbles.

Very nearly lost my email->html python script.

Very nearly lost my email->html python script. It was still called try2.py and it got cleaned up. Thankfully Vim had kept a backup.

Backup ran fine and palm turned itself off after..

Backup ran fine and palm turned itself off after the usualdelay. It's log file records the backup. Whatever befell my palm must have been in the 2 hours before midnight. Strange.

Changed backup time to 5:00pm

1st thing this morning I reached for my palm and it wouldn't switch on. Reset button did not help so I put it in the hotsync cradle and it came to life. Now after 1/2 hour charge the battery is at 55% so I don't think the battery was flat. BackupBuddy should have run at midnight but there is no log file entry. Did it screw up and not complete?

I'll set the backup time to a few minutes hence and see what happens.
