Got home PC playing sound. |

Got home PC playing sound. Tried:
chopping lumps of media control devices out of the registy- no effect
installing Win2k SP4- made pc reboot continually
reinstalling Win2k on existing file system
Which worked. Online radio is great, sound quality is good, streaming video is fairly poor but who wants to watch trailers ? BBC site has archive of radio shows.
0nly problem so far: Mozilla will not boot.

PC sound still refuses to work. |

PC sound still refuses to work. I now have two sets of Media Control Devices, with different property sheets. PC at work has just one. Problem is there does not seem to be a way to uninstall them: they are not listed by the remove hardware wizard.
