2002-10-15Java Web Start improves
Found on ZOpen-X: new version of Java Web Start available. Interesting. It might be usable soon. That splash screen was irritating. Now let's see if you can use it to distribute apps without it pestering your users with security warnings whenever you try to do something.
In related news, a little while ago Zero G made a free version of InstallAnywhere. Is it InstallAnywhere Now!? I'll check that out later. The news about the free version came from an Oracle magazine. Perhaps it's a plugin for Oracle9i JDeveloper. Aha. Looks like it's "Now!" they're talking about there. Comment on this post [ so far] |
