The PopCorn product page contains this little ditty: USE OF THIS SOFTWARE TO MAKE UNAUTHORIZED COPIES OF MOVIES AND OTHER CONTENT MAY REQUIRE THE PERMISSION OF THE COPYRIGHT OWNER.

Huh?

If I were to receive permission to copy a movie or other content, how could it still be "unauthorized"?

Or is the assumption that all copies, regardless of legality or permission, are to be considered unauthorized?

Probably the latter. More sad than silly, really.
